Charles Street

Tarzana

This incredible 13,000 square foot home is nestled in the center of over 3 ½ acres which were part of the old Edward Rice Burrows Estate. Designed by Architect Marsha Scully, AIA it is inspired by a 19th Century Long Island Shingle Style “Beach Cottage.”

Marsha’s New England training and eye for detail combined with Race Point’s experience in building and restoring old New England homes, made this a perfect marriage between the design team and building team.

The owners were motivated to work with an accelerated schedule. Race Point’s challenge was to simultaneously reduce the construction timeline while maintaining the extremely high level of quality that has earned our reputation as “the Architect’s Builder.”

With a $6 million budget, the project was completed as promised and on schedule.
